VelvetSpace designs and manufactures custom furniture that uses every centimetre of your space.

We operate our own workshop where all modular units — wardrobes, TV units, kitchen cabinets, study desks, beds, and display units — are manufactured to precise measurements in controlled conditions. This ensures consistent quality, faster site installation, and less debris at your home.

Our standard carcass material is BWP grade plywood with laminate, acrylic, membrane or PU paint finishes — chosen for their durability in Mumbai's climate. We use Hettich or Blum hardware throughout for smooth, silent, long-lasting operation.

All our furniture carcasses are built from BWP (Boiling Waterproof) grade plywood — not particle board or MDF — providing the structural rigidity and moisture resistance needed for Mumbai's climate and long-term durability.

Premium Finish Options

Laminates (budget-friendly, many textures), acrylic (high-gloss, easy to clean), PU paint (smooth, premium, any colour), and membrane (wrapped) finishes. We help you choose the right finish for each piece based on use and budget.

Hettich & Blum Hardware

BWP (Boiling Waterproof) plywood is moisture-resistant and structurally strong — ideal for Mumbai's climate. MDF is smooth and excellent for paint finishes but swells if exposed to water and is less structurally rigid for large-span shelves.

Factory manufacturing for a full 3BHK — including all wardrobes, kitchen, TV unit, beds, and study units — takes approximately 20–30 days. Site installation takes 5–7 days.

Yes. We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on all our carpentry work. Hettich and Blum hardware carry their own manufacturer warranties of 5+ years.
