Residential Sacred Spaces

Spaces That Invite Peace and Devotion

A pooja room or mandir unit is more than interior design — it is a sacred focal point that anchors the spiritual life of a home. VelvetSpace designs pooja spaces that honour tradition and personal belief while fitting seamlessly into modern interiors.

We work with families across faiths and traditions — Hindu, Jain, and multi-faith households — to create spaces that feel genuinely sacred rather than decorative. Every detail, from the orientation to the material choices, is considered with reverence.

Options range from compact mandir units embedded in living room niches to dedicated full pooja rooms in villas with marble flooring, intricate woodwork, and bell arches. All designs are Vastu-compliant.

For apartments: beautifully designed niche or freestanding mandir units in teak, sheesham, or CNC-routed MDF. Designed to fit within your living room or bedroom without dominating the space.

Full Pooja Rooms

For villas and larger homes: a complete dedicated pooja room with marble flooring, decorative bell arch, customised wooden panels, and soft amber lighting that creates an atmosphere of genuine sanctity.

Solid teak with traditional carving is our most premium offering. We also provide CNC-routed MDF for contemporary homes, and pure marble for deity platforms and back walls.
